Honeydew Green Tea

Keeping with the diet theme, I thought I’d share with you the refreshing (and healthy!) beverage I mixed up today. This green tea concoction can be made with watermelon or cantaloupe as well.

What You Need:
4 Cups Honeydew Melon (cut into 1/2 inch chunks)
1 (64 ounce) Bottle Unsweetened Gree Tea
1 Piece Ginger (peeled and chopped)
1/4 Cup Honey

Get Started:
Place honeydew melon, 2 cups of the green tea, and ginger into a blender and purée until smooth and frothy. Strain through a fine mesh sieve, discard any remaining pulp and transfer honeydew-tea mixture to a large pitcher. Stir in remaining tea and honey, chill and serve over ice.

*You can skip the straining process for a thicker version. I made my own Green Tea, let it cool, and then used it instead of buying a bottle.
