Ok, so I probably shouldn’t celebrate Cinco de Mayo since I’m a white girl and all, but any excuse to have a margarita! And here’s a great recipe to add to your list:
Corona Margaritas
I can hear you now, Say what?! Beer in my margarita oh no – shut up and try it already!
Whatchu Need:
1 (12oz) Can Fozen Limeade Concentrate
12oz (or 12 shots) White Tequila
12oz Sprite/7Up/Sierra Mist
12oz Corona Extra (or any light beer!)
Ice
Lime, cut into wedges
Salt
Start Mixin:
Pour limeade, tequila, soda, and beer in a pitcher. Mix well. Pour into margarita glasses, add ice, garnish with salt and a lime wedge and start drinking!
(For a sweeter variation you can subsitute Grand Marnier or Cointreau for a portion of the tequila!)
Taste test this, you cannot taste the beer whatsoever, and it’s delicious! You’re welcome in advance, my friends!

hmmm, I may have to try this! I like margaritas but they are honestly usually too sweet for me, this doesn't sound like it would be that bad π

Mmm looks yummy! Occasionally we have Mexican Fun Beers which involve ice, Mexican beer like Corona or Tecate, muddled limes in a glass rimmed with kosher salt. Sounds a little strange but it is delicious!

I never thought you could mix beer with soda until I had a Lime 'n Lager at my local beer emporium and it was pretty tasty, so I could imagine that this works as a cocktail.
